Lat CPx J Inverter location?
The display on my elderly Lat CPx J has gone very dim. Can still see
shadows of it in BRIGHT sunlight but it is not usable in portable mode that
way. It works fine docked (I'm typing on it).

Unknown Devices Win XP Latitiude CPx J
I have 3 ? unknown devices.
They are the AC Adapter, Battery control method 1 and method 2. What do I need

Latitude CPX J Series works on battery power, but not when AC adapter plugged in
I have two latitude laptops. On the J series laptop, it will work when
on battery power. But, when I plug in the AC adapter, the light on the adapter
goes out, and the unit laptop will not work. Looks like a possible short?? When

Thermal Cooling Fan, CPX J

A friend gave me here old laptop computer, A Latitude CPx-J and I have
a dsl modem and I am not familar with laptop computers. I want to hook it up to

how to identify cpx-j from cpx-h boards
how can i indentify which board is a cpx-h and which is a cpx-j board. is
there a tag on the board that says something about it. who can give me a hand
with this. i sometimes buy mainboards, but i want to know which ones are cpx-j
